New pigpen disinfection method by steam

By filling the entire pigpen with steam, it can be disinfected effectively to every corner including the back of duckboards and the top of feeding pipes where it was difficult to disinfect for sure. *This method of pigpen disinfection is patent pending as a joint development with “Ishikawa Stockbreeding” in Kawaminami town, Miyazaki pref.

Change of the temperatures indicated by the temperature sensor placed at the center of the pigpen. Temperature over 60℃ was maintained for more than 20 minutes.

Change of the number of bacteria before and after steaming

Steam disinfection dramatically reduced the number of bacteria. The environment in the pigpen was certainly improved, and thus the accident rate can be greatly reduced.
